Tom Verboven

Senior Director, Client Success.

Tom Verboven is a Human Capital Leader with a proven track record advising global organizations on effective people and organisation strategies. With extensive leadership roles in IBM, Talogy and PwC’s Advisory Services, Tom has lived and worked in diverse locations and delivered assessments and coaching globally.

Tom is a Senior Client Success Director at Mercer Talent Enterprise, where he assumes the crucial responsibility of designing, developing and delivering an array of cutting-edge leadership assessments and development solutions to the clients. He is also the practice lead for Executive Assessments.

His expertise lies in executive assessment and succession, high-potential programs, change leadership, and cultural transformation. Tom is particularly passionate about leadership, emphasising collective leadership, executive leadership, and sustainable leadership practices. His primary goal is to drive positive change for leaders and through leaders.

He has a Master’s in Sociology and International Politics from the University of Brussels and an Executive Master’s in Change Leadership run jointly by HEC Paris and Oxford. Tom is a regular guest lecturer at different universities.

When he is not working, Tom enjoys sports and reading. As a former professional basketball player, he still enjoys the game but nowadays it is more enthusiasm than athleticism. Furthermore, he actively contributes to the cause of poverty alleviation and is a member of a non-profit organisation based in Belgium that is dedicated to combating poverty.
