Bushra is responsible for the design and delivery of large scale projects, within and outside UAE. With over a decade of HR experience across various industries, Bushra has an in-depth understanding of organisational requirements, and enjoys working with companies to solve their most compelling talent related issues.
Working with our clients on bespoke talent priorities, Bushra manages our partnership with development partners including ILM, Harvard Business Publishing and Eruditus to develop leadership capability across a cross-sector of organisations.
As HR Lead, she is responsible for the recruitment, development and engagement of our UAE and India teams.
Having worked at several organisations, Bushra excels at project management, that also includes a strong focus on understanding the requirements of the business. Bushra has extensive experience designing and executing performance management and succession programs. She has re-designed organisational structures and job roles at turn-around organisations and assessed hundreds of individuals for high potential assessment, in additional to designing competency frameworks. Bushra’s recent projects have been with clients from the Government, Luxury Retail, Pharmaceutical and Financial sectors.
Prior to joining Mercer Talent Enterprise, Bushra managed HR teams at Colgate Palmolive (Pakistan) and K-Electric, where she was part of the turn-around team for the organisation, designing its first ever performance management system, and recruiting over 100 best in class managers across the business. At HBL, the largest bank in Pakistan, she worked on several communication projects that included the re-branding project of the bank.
She has an MBA from Cardiff University, UK, where she focused on the implementation of progressive HR practices within the NHS to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
Shopping is Bushra’s favorite sport, and a 3 hour walk in the mall is her only form of exercise. She has a daughter (Amelia) and son (Faiz Ilan), and they both continue to spark joy in her life on a daily basis. They are also the true bosses of her life! In another life, Bushra would have been a personal shopper for luxury stores and celebrities across the world. She loves diet coke aficionado and has never tasted tea in her life!
