The Science.

- Seven of The Thriving Index® factors together explain 36% variance in employee engagement, with individual factor wise regression coefficients of compliance (0.09), systematic (0.08), accountability (-0.10), sociable (0.07), purpose (0.39), awareness (0.10) and ambition (0.10).
- Energy, optimism and mastery were also found to be predictive of happiness. These 3 factors together explain 44% variance in happiness, with beta values (standardized coefficients) of 0.24 for energy, 0.25 for optimism and -0.17 for mastery.
- Growth, energy and grit were found to be predictive of engagement. These 3 factors together explain 26% variance in engagement, with beta values (standardized coefficients) of 0.22 for growth, 0.25 for energy and 0.17 for grit.
- Efficacy, resourcefulness, energy and resilience were found to be predictive of life satisfaction. These 4 factors together explain 35% variance in life satisfaction, with beta values (standardized coefficients) of 0.19 for efficacy, 0.27 for resourcefulness, 0.16 for energy and 0.22 for resilience.
- Finally, energy was found to be predictive of lower burnout levels. On its own, energy explains 18% variance in burnout, with a beta value of 0.21. This data is really crucial in establishing and affirming the suitability and predictability of using The Thriving Index® with the youth.
- Majority of The Thriving Index® factors differentiate high potential leaders from the rest, with 50% more resilience, 63% higher efficacy, 58% more growth mindset, 51% more accountability and 42% more autonomy.
